Our Team
Lisa Gasperec, PE is an instrumental member of the Gasperec Elberts Consulting, LLC leadership team, with over 22 years of experience in the civil engineering field. She is a very dedicated, hard-working, honest, and client-focused engineering professional, which has garnered her much respect from her clients and peers.
While having knowledge of all facets of civil engineering, the majority of her career includes expertise in construction engineering and management, which has allowed her to understand all phases of civil engineering projects from planning to project close-out. Her vast knowledge of construction engineering starts with bidding and ends with project close-out. She is well versed in agreements, various grant requirements, and IDOT and Tollway procedures for contract administration, documentation, material inspection, and project close-out, which are the industry standards.

Lisa's 22 years of experience is varied from residential neighborhood projects to large-scale interstate improvements. She has experience with all facets of civil engineering and public works improvements including roadway, structural improvements, utility installations, lighting/electrical systems, traffic signals, water lift stations, and sanitary pumping stations, as well as coordinating projects with local staff and residents.
Megan Elberts, PE is the managing principal of Gasperec Elberts Consulting with over 13 years of experience in water resources engineering, including green infrastructure, water quality and stormwater management. Megan has experience with hydraulics and hydrology modeling, base flood elevation determinations and permitting water resources projects throughout northeastern Illinois.

In addition to her drainage and stormwater management work, she also has experience with general planning activities and was involved with the region’s first comprehensive land use plan – GO TO 2040. She has also assisted with watershed planning and water supply planning.

Megan is licensed as a professional engineer in Illinois and Indiana. She is also a Certified Floodplain Manager and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. She is an active member of the Illinois Section of American Society of Civil Engineers and currently serves as Chair of the Chicago Chapter of the Environmental and Water Resources Institute.
Michael Martin, PE is the Civil Engineering Design Lead for Gasperec Elberts Consulting. Mike manages GEC’s efforts on civil site design and transportation infrastructure projects. He guides projects to successful outcomes with an emphasis on producing quality deliverables and treating the project team and stakeholders with courtesy and candor.
Mike has had the privilege of working on a range of projects including residential and business land development, highway and street improvement studies and design, and high-profile design-build transportation contracts. Several of these projects have won state and national awards for excellence and merit.
Mike values equity, sustainability, and constructibility in engineering design. He enjoys seeking solutions to project challenges in pursuit of those goals, and in the service of all project stakeholders. Mike strives to provide every client with excellent collaboration and professional service.
Christi Davidson, PLS Christina Davidson has over fourteen years of land surveying experience in public- and private-sector projects. She has performed field and office tasks on a broad variety of railroad, roadway, construction, utility, boundary, and site engineering surveys.
Ms. Davidson has worked with data collected via level run, GPS, Total Station, and Terrestrial LiDAR scanner to create Plats of Survey, topographic maps, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, easement and survey exhibits, and GIS exhibits.
Christina earned degrees in both Land Surveying Engineering and Civil Engineering from Purdue University-West Lafayette and has since become a professionally licensed surveyor in Illinois, Indiana, and Minnesota.
